Our Story

The founder of Micellar Skincare™ is a highly qualified organic cosmetic chemist passionate about environmental sustainability and scientific excellence in skincare.  Observing that many existing skincare products are so poorly formulated as to be ineffective and environmentally unfriendly, he applied these two passions as the founding developmental principles for a new range of “green” skincare products.

Micellar Skincare™ has developed expertise in the technically advanced field of nano-encapsulation of biologically active skincare ingredients. Nano-encapsulation techniques have been scientifically proven to improve the formulation stability and skin permeation capability of skincare products. Using this expertise, a range of the most scientifically advanced, environmentally sustainable and the most effective topical skincare treatments currently available has been developed. Nano-encapsulation formulation techniques have been applied to a wide range of products types including serums, mineral sunscreens, cleansers and hair growth enhancers.

"Green" Skincare

At Micellar Skincare™, we apply our technical scientific knowledge and expertise to the creation of innovative and environmentally friendly skincare products. Our aim is to have skincare formulations that are the most “green” and “environmentally sustainable” available.

Many skincare brands claim to be environmentally friendly but their ingredient labels tell another story. Development of truly “green” skincare products requires investment of time and money because real “green” ingredients are still expensive and difficult to find. We have done the hard work and developed the most scientifically advanced skincare products with the least environmental impact.

Our finished skincare products are “green”, meaning they are environmentally sustainable and friendly with no chemical synthetics or preservatives. Once applied, the biodegradation products of our range are also environmentally friendly.

But our aim is to produce the best formulations possible by applying the latest scientific research available, backed by our existing technical expertise in skincare science and nano-encapsulation formulations. 

We apply scientific research and innovation to creating skincare products that have minimal impact on our environment in terms of sustainability and biodegradability.

This application created our organic skincare products that are innovative, scientifically advanced, environmentally friendly, sustainable and, most importantly, topically effective in the treatment of a range of skin ailments.
